Description

Your chance to help shape a better society.

We are the UK’s leading people advisory business across public and not for profit sectors, helping organisations to build future ready leadership to accelerate transformational change. With accomplished leadership development and interim leadership practices, we are perhaps best known as market leaders in Executive Search, with a reputation for strong client relationships, candidate care and exceptional sector and discipline knowledge.

We are proud to deliver some of the most high-profile roles in UK public life and support a range of organisations who share a common purpose to deliver societal value, enabling people from all walks of life to live happier, more productive lives.

No one has more experience of hiring into senior positions across the Health sector than we do. We are the number one provider of recruitment services for senior executive and board appointments in NHS organisations, due to our depth of understanding of the NHS, our candidate care, and our networks.

In an increasingly challenging sector where finance, quality and performance must be delivered and where patient-focus is paramount, we have built a track record based on strong sustainable appointments.  Whether our work requires us to focus into the NHS or takes us into the wider public, private or voluntary sectors, our emphasis remains on creating diverse shortlists.

We are proud to have developed a reputation for outstanding candidate and client care (world class as assessed by a global metric), thoughtful, lateral and thorough search and above all, commitment and collaboration.

We’re searching for a Researcher or Senior Researcher who is invested in what we do.  This role requires someone who is passionate about client and candidate experience, delivering results, and increasingly high standards of research.

If you are an Executive Search Researcher, skilled at working on complex assignments then we can’t wait to hear from you.

What you'll do:

Researchers are typically the first introduction to GatenbySanderson from within the candidate and therefore the potential client pool.  Researchers will identify and attract potential candidates, offering information and feedback and will analyse market intelligence and share this information through our database and weekly client progress reports.  Working on three to four assignments at any one time, you will be responsible for ensuring that client, consultant and candidate experiences are exemplary, with expectations being set appropriately throughout the project(s).  You will remain involved from early pipeline through until candidate long listing has been completed.

Depending on the level you join, your role may be required to contribute to the wider team and play a valuable role within client meetings.  We also encourage researchers to be at the heart of content creation for thought leadership, social media updates, articles in industry publications and Practice insights.

To be successful you'll need:

=         Research experience in executive search

=         A track record of successfully researching complex and senior assignments

=         The ability to assimilate and interpret information gathered from a number of sources

=         Track record of successfully using your judgement and thinking laterally to inform effective decision making

=         Effective, concise written skills encompassing reports, assessments and analysis

=         Project management capability across multiple projects; deadline management is key

Although not essential, the following experience would be ideal:

=         Experience of working with, or knowledge gained in a different way, of public sector organisations and ideally the NHS.
